Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders

The Patrol Leader for each patrol is elected by the Scouts in that patrol.  Assistant Patrol Leaders are also elected by the patrol.  The Patrol Leader (or in his absence, the Assistant Patrol Leader) is responsible for organizing and leading all activities of his patrol.  This includes, for example, the preparation and implementation of duty rosters for campouts or program activities.  It allows each boy to assume responsibility for, and take part in, successfully implementing the troop’s programs.
